Pull requests beside the work.
An agent's work ends in a pull request. Skipper keeps each session's pull requests and their checks next to the session, so you can see what is ready to merge without switching to the browser.
Connect GitHub
Connect GitHub from the sidebar or in Settings. Skipper signs in with GitHub's device flow and hands the token to the bundled GitHub CLI, which keeps it in your Keychain. Skipper keeps no copy. You can connect more than one GitHub account and choose which is active.
GitHub is optional. Sessions, worktrees, and agents work with any local git repository.
Status for every session
When an agent opens a pull request from its session's branch, Skipper links it to the session. The sidebar, the tab, and the session's hovercard show where it stands, such as draft, checks pending, checks failed, blocked, ready to merge, in the merge queue, auto-merge enabled, merged, or closed. The hovercard adds the check count and how far the branch is ahead of or behind its base.
A session can have more than one pull request, across repositories. Skipper recognizes a stack of pull requests from their branches and shows the stack in the toolbar.
Merge from the toolbar
The toolbar's pull request menu opens the pull request on GitHub, and merges it the way the repository is set up to merge.
- Merge Pull Request…
- Add to Merge Queue…
- Enable Auto-merge… and Disable Auto-merge…
- Merge Stack…, which merges a stack from the bottom up
When the branch has landed, archive the session with ⇧⌘A.
Every pull request you care about
Press ⌘P to see your pull requests, grouped into ready to merge, created by you, waiting for your review, and mentioning you. Choose one to open its session, or to start a new session on its branch.
New Session from Pull Request… (⌥⌘P) starts a session from any pull request URL, including one on your clipboard. Skipper clones the repository if it needs to, checks out the pull request's branch in a new worktree, and links the pull request to the session.
The agent opens the pull request
Skipper bundles the GitHub CLI and puts it on the agent's PATH, so
Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode can commit, push, and open pull
requests the way they do in your terminal.
