Made for the keyboard and the Mac.
Every session is a native macOS window tab. Group them into as many windows as you like, drag a tab from one window to another, and use the commands you already know from other Mac apps.
Find anything with ⌘K
The command palette searches your open tabs, active sessions, projects, and every menu command, including the commands for the session in front of you. Hold ⌘ to see shortcut hints on screen.
| Shortcut | Command |
|---|---|
| ⌘T | New tab with the composer |
| ⌘K | Search |
| ⌘P | Pull requests |
| ⌥⌘P | New session from a pull request |
| ⌘D | Duplicate session |
| ⇧⌘A | Archive session |
| ⌘' | Next agent needing attention |
| ⌘R | Run |
| ⌘. | Interrupt the agent |
| ⌃⌘A | Choose account |
| ⌃⌘M | Choose model |
| ⇧⌘T | Reopen closed tab |
| ⇧⌘H | Home |
Arrange your sessions
The Window menu arranges open sessions by pull request status, organization, recent activity, or repository, and groups them into one window per organization or per repository. Merge All Windows puts them back together. Skipper restores your windows and tabs when you reopen it.
Home
Home (⇧⌘H) shows your active sessions with search, filters, and sorting, your pull requests, and your GitHub repositories. Choose a repository you have not added yet, and Skipper clones it.
Open a worktree anywhere
⌘O opens the session's worktree in your default app, Finder until you choose another. ⇧⌘O lists the apps on your Mac that Skipper knows, including Xcode, Visual Studio Code, Cursor, Zed, IntelliJ IDEA, Ghostty, iTerm2, Warp, Kaleidoscope, and Sublime Merge, and the app you choose becomes the default. When a session has more than one checkout, Skipper asks which one to open.
Service status
Skipper reads the public status pages of GitHub, Claude, and OpenAI. When one of them reports an incident, Home shows it.
